What you see isn’t always what you get…at least when it comes to skin damage. But now, the VISIA™ Complexion Analysis System makes it possible to capture photographs of sun damage (and other skin issues) that are invisible to the naked eye. The results, which aren’t always pretty, are a good indication of how skin will eventually show the signs of aging.
A breakthrough in skin technology, VISIA™ scans the skin and records surface and subsurface conditions including wrinkles, spots (pigmentation), pores, evenness (color variation in the skin tone), porphyrins (evidence of bacteria in pores) and UV spots (characteristic of photodamage, typically from overexposure to sun).
Using multi-spectral digital analysis, the system enables Reveal’s skincare professionals to design customized rejuvenation and skincare programs to more accurately and effectively address each member’s complexion issues. The imaging system is then used to monitor the effectiveness of skin treatments and regimens over time, so that clients can actually track the changes in their skin by more than what they see in the mirror immunodeficiency virus. Sculptra® Aesthetic is now being widely used for cosmetic reasons.

How it works

A quick and painless process, it simply involves taking your picture from the front and side. The digital image is recorded under natural as well as ultra-violet light. The image is then analyzed using an advanced computer program first developed by Proctor & Gamble as a skincare research tool. The images and analysis are stored in a secure hard drive where they can be accessed as needed for comparison. Members receive the printed report, complete with full-color images and Transform’s recommendations for rejuvenation and ongoing skincare.
